The location for our particular travel needs.

There was a mildew smell that was so strong that we had to leave at 4 am in the morning. The air conditioner randomly shut off in the middle of the night and it became stifling. Had maybe 2 hours of sleep.

The staff was great. The surroundings at this hotel just made things nice. I wish I would have stayed longer here. The locatin is just great. The motels night settings are just perfect.

The rooms are A little small. If you need big rooms look someplace else.

My family plans to return and stay at this hotel.

Our room had an excellent view of the bay. We had a kitchenette and plenty of outdoor seats to enjoy. The room was adequate, but the loud A.C. was a little annoying.

The only thing that were a little strange was the arrangement of the hotel room. The placement of the TV over the kitchenette and on the same wall as the A.C. unit was bizarre. In the morning the office ran out of pastries.

If you find yourself in Key Largo without a booking at a major luxury resort, this is definitely a nice place to chill. We paid a lot for a very basic room, but we realize this is because it was "high season." The room was clean enough, and the staff was friendly. Also, we enjoyed being able to borrow a small sea kayak and take it out on the cove. That was a nice bonus amenity. Furthermore, having a fun bar and grill right next door is greatly convenient for weary travelers, especially when there is awful weekend traffic on the major roadways.

The best view anywhere.

The rooms are dated, but that is part of the "old Florida" experience.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the view and being able to go straight out on our boat every day. The rooms are older style but that is part of the charm, very "old Florida" style.

Nice outdoor areas.

Rooms were very outdated. Awful mattress. This place is not worth the money. Not as nice as a motel 6. Spend more money and stay somewhere else. Also if you have pets it is 35.00 per night for them.

the room was not ready for us, it still needed to be cleaned and when we notified management they just told us to leave and come back later. we had to wait 2 hours for the room to be ready.

The motel/ resort was charming in its laid back casual way but managment was too easy going when it came to having the rooms ready for their guests. We walked into our room to find dirty floors in the room and bathroom, a/c vent in the kitchen sink and the bed had no linens on it. Eventhough we complained, management did not offer us a discount to our rate or even simply give us extra time when checking out. If it wasnt for the view and location, I would say it was a total bust. I would only go back if the rates were reduced drastically, I paid way to much for what I got.

Love the fact the place was layed back, relaxing and beautiful. The water is right there . You can bring your pet if you want.our dog loved it.
